Taste Profile
Tasting Note
Wachenheimer Riesling is primarily produced from the Wachenheimer Königswingert. This vineyard between Wachenheim and Bad Dürkheim is a much cooler site than our other vineyards and benefits from its red sandstone soil weathering and a high proportion of clay. This enables us to combine a light structure with a fully ripe aroma. Also with this wine we rely on time - only after 10 months it is separated from the full lees. This allows us to achieve a very creamy character paired with a finely balanced acidity and aromas of yellow stone fruit.
