Taste Profile
Tasting Note
The colour is “liminal pink” - that shade that sits between dry rosé and chillable red. The aromas are a riot of cherries, red cherry, cherry pip, glacé cherry. The palate follows up with pomegranate, blood orange, spice and a savoury, amaro twist of raspberry salted liquorice. The bubble are soft and more foamy rather than aggressively fizzy, and there’s a mouth-watering freshness from the snappy Nero acidity, texture and tang from the Lagrein and Montepulciano and some spice from the exotic Prieto Picudo.
Product Notes
Wildman Wine Piggy Pop Pét-Nat is a lively Australian sparkling wine made in the pétillant naturel style. Gently cloudy and bursting with character, it offers juicy red-fruit flavours, bright citrus notes and a refreshing, playful fizz. Its pink hue and expressive personality make it an inviting choice for relaxed celebrations, picnics or sunny afternoons. Produced with minimal intervention, Piggy Pop embraces the naturally spirited side of winemaking, delivering a vibrant, fruit-forward experience rather than a polished, formal one. Serve well chilled and enjoy with friends, alongside light snacks, charcuterie or simply on its own. Cheerful, distinctive and deliciously easy-going.
