Tasting Note

In spite of its name, which would suggest that it is sweet, this product embodies the true spirit of traditional and modern drinking at mealtimes in Piedmont. A dry, almost bitter wine, very vinous and medium-bodied. It was and still is the wine of everyday tables where food, whatever it may be, and wine come together with the sole ambition of making diners feel good and happy. Easy enjoyment, satisfaction and the desire to pour another drop. This is what we believe Dolcetto d’Alba should be.

Product Notes

The Cordero di Montezemolo Dolcetto d’Alba DOC is an Italian delight, tracing its origins to the Piedmont region. With a rich vibrant ruby red hue, the wine offers an inviting olfactory experience, yielding scents of wild berries and fresh flowers. The harmonious taste profile reveals a medium body with hints of cherry and plum, alongside a pleasant acidity that is beautifully balanced. This wine is extremely versatile, lending itself to a plethora of dishes, in particular, pasta and red meats. Its perfect tannin-acidity marriage concludes in a pleasing end note, making it a splendid everyday wine.
