Li Veli Askos Susumanielo Salento IGT is an outstanding premium wine from the Puglia region in Italy. Deep ruby in colour, it boasts an expressive nose of red and blackcurrant, cherry and spicy notes. On the palate, this elegant wine exhibits complexity with velvety tannins, and a lovely balance between acidity and rich fruit flavours. It finishes long, leaving traces of ripe cherries and wild berries, with a hint of rich, warm liquorice. This wine is ideally enjoyed with red meats and mature cheeses. A sublime testament to the Susumaniello grape variety from which it is made.
