About the Winery

DAOU

Nestled in the panoramic landscapes of California's Central Coast, the DAOU Vineyard and Winery is the brainchild of visionary brothers, Georges and Daniel Daou. The sons of Lebanese immigrants, the Daou brothers are passionate about crafting exceptional wine which brilliantly surpasses expectations.

The winery, established in 2007, lie east of Paso Robles atop the majestic slopes of California's golden Adelaida District. Graced with consistently warm sunshine and persistent coastal breezes, the ripening of fruits is both gradual and even, lending to them an intense concentration of flavours.

The primary focus at DAOU is in the creation of first-rate Cabernet Sauvignon, a varietal honoured for its quiet elegance and robust structure. By meticulously cultivating vines from the superb Bordeaux Clone 337, the winery's Cabernet boasts a characteristic complexity that is both well-balanced and unapologetically rich. However, DAOU doesn't just shine in its Cabernet Sauvignon, the winery also produces exquisite Syrah, Grenache and Chardonnay among others that have earned unanimous acclaim from critics and connoisseurs alike.

Beyond its commendable dedication towards the art of viticulture, what distinctly separates DAOU from other vineyards is the immersive experience it offers to all its visitors. extravagance come as standard. The opulent tasting rooms are furnished with a dash of European flair, bookended with panoramic views that stretch out towards the Pacific Ocean. Complemented by a culinary team that continually strives for perfection, seasonal gourmet dining adds another element of allure to this already enchanting vineyard.

With its suite of mesmerising experiences, unparalleled wines, and a breathtaking backdrop, DAOU winery is a testament to finer taste and a celebration of the love for winemaking. Though their journey is only just beginning, the Daou brothers have swiftly ascended towards becoming the standard-bearers in American viticulture.
