Product Notes
Casa Castillo Pie Franco is an exquisite Spanish red wine hailing from the warm climate of the Jumilla region. A customarily varietal Monastrell, it exhibits complex flavours from old vines, aged up to 60 years. The nose presents ripe fruit aromas, interspersed with hints of vanilla, toast and spices from 14 months in French oak barrels. On the palate, its taste is sumptuously full-bodied, with a notable balance between tannins, acidity, and alcohol, creating a pleasantly long, spicy finish. It's a wine to be savoured with strong cheeses, robust meats or game dishes. A delightful indulgence for any wine enthusiast.
