Taste Profile
Tasting Note
A progressive take on a French classic, Noir brings Grenache together with its lesser-known red partners, Carignan, Cinsault and Counoise, in a celebration of the southern Rhône on our estate. Lifted fragrance, with bright flavours and vibrant acidity, this wine shows these ancient newcomers also thrive in the elevated corner of McLaren Vale.
Product Notes
Yangarra Estate Vineyard Noir is an exquisite Australian wine, brilliantly showcasing McLaren Vale's terroir. This charming blend of Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre and Cinsaut offers a lavish nose of red and dark fruits, intertwining with earthy undertones and gentle spice. Its palate is elegantly layered, velvety and intricate, thriving with plum and red cherry, mingled with peppery undertones. Matured in French oak barrels, it presents well integrated tannins, framing the flavours to perfection. A medium-bodied wine, it unfolds a beautifully long, satisfying finish, that encapsulates the quintessential taste of old-vine Australian viticulture.
