Darling Cellars Black Granite Shiraz Reserve is a full-bodied, iconic red wine crafted in the heart of South Africa's Western Cape. It carries a deep, rich ruby colour that hints at its robust character. The intense bouquet offers tantalising notes of ripe mulberries and white pepper, subtly combined with nuances of vanilla and timber spice from mature oak ageing. On the palate, it exhibits rich layers of dark berries and complex spice, with well-integrated, silky tannins. This carefully crafted shiraz boasts an elegant, lingering finish, making it a delightful pairing for red meat dishes or mature cheese platters.

Tasting Notes

This is a remarkable Shiraz with an expressive nose and great complexity. Fruits such as pomegranate, strawberries, vanilla, white pepper, bright red fruit together with a hint of smokiness will meet you on the nose.
