Tasting Note

An extraordinary old Fino aged for around 15 years under flor, giving remarkable depth and complexity. Deep golden and intensely aromatic, with yeast, toasted almond, hazelnut, dried citrus and saline mineral notes. Bone-dry, concentrated and beautifully textured, with vibrant salinity and an exceptionally long, savoury finish.

Product Notes

Emilio Hidalgo's La Panesa Especial Fino is a venerable sherry, brimming with character. Each sip unveils layers of complexity - distinctive salinity is interwoven with rich almond and brioche notes. Matured for over 15 years, the amber hue reveals its storied age. On the palate, it's a delightful concoction of tart apple undertones balanced by a crescendo of savoury nuances. This enigmatic wine captures the essence of Andalucía's sun-soaked vineyards, creating an irresistibly long, dry finish. Ideal for connoisseurs seeking a wine of profound depth and exceptional quality, it excels when paired with gourmet seafood or aged cheese.
