Tasting Note

A cuirassier. Fleshy, extremely focused. Here Serralunga d’Alba is present with signs of licorice, spices and dark fruits. Cherry, currant and blueberry melt harmoniously together. Velvety and sweetly ripe, with splendidly integrated tannins. San Rocco gives an impression of great power, austerity, with an incredible aging potential. Pure complexity. A strong character. Monumental.

Product Notes

Immerse in the complex world of the Azelia Barolo San Rocco wine. Sicilian in origin, this well-structured red wine boasts elegance and richness. Perfectly balanced between tannins and acidity, its character remains unswerving. On the nose, it offers a beautiful bouquet of red fruits, leather and spices. On the palate, it unravels layers of cherry, redcurrant, liquorice, intertwined with earthy undertones. Aged for 24 months in oak barrels, it imparts a charming oakiness that bestows depth. The lingering finish is uniquely rewarding. An excellent companion to meat-based delicacies, Azelia Barolo San Rocco wine is truly a testament of Italian winemaking prowess.
