Tasting Note

The nose of the 2022 A Cesteira is peachy and elegant, clean, precise, subtle and harmonious, very young but with incipient complexity. It unfurls more layers of aromas with time in the glass, herbs and moss, quite spectacular. The palate is powerful but terrifically balanced, with pungent flavours, intense and persistent. It has a velvety palate, fine-grained and harmonious, balanced and long, very elegant and subtle. - Luis Gutierrez, Robert Parker Wine Advocate 96/100

Product Notes

Bodegas Fulcro Finca A Cesteira Albarino Rias Baixas is a splendid Spanish wine offering a taste of Galicia's lush landscapes. It's an Albariño grape variety, grown organically and expertly crafted by winemaker Manuel Moldes. Pale in colour with lemony hues, it boasts aromas of zesty citrus fruits and white flowers. On the palate, it's wonderfully balanced between crisp acidity and a rich minerality, offering layers of ripe apple, pear, and a subtle hint of salinity. This charming, full-bodied wine pairs beautifully with seafood or tapas, stimulating a truly Mediterranean experience. It's an undeniably luxurious and refined tipple.
