Château Ka

Situated in the fertile Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, the Château Ka winery is quite unlike any other. Offering an alluring blend of traditional viticulture techniques and modern innovation, it is a place that sings the praises of its environs and the craftsmanship of its dedicated vintners.

Named after owner, Akram Kassatly, Château Ka is an authentic embodiment of his passion for winemaking which he learned in France. His dreams materialised when he opened Château Ka in 1973; however, Lebanon's civil war quashed his endeavour. The winery lay dormant until 2005 when Kassatly revived it with renewed vigour and a steadfast commitment to producing world-class wines.

What truly sets Château Ka apart is its distinction of being the only winery in Lebanon that exclusively uses its own grapes in production. Home to an enthralling assortment of varietals including Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the winery echoes with the voice of its terroir at every sip.

The vineyards act like a watercolour painting, painting a beautiful backdrop against the azure sky. They sprawl over 70 hectares, their tendrils reaching out to the sun, absorbing every drop of vital brilliance to extract the remarkable flavours for which Château Ka wines are revered.
