Product Notes

Deovlet Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir is a magnificent juxtaposition of consistency and complexity. Its utterly clear ruby hue invites the curious wine lover, whilst the inviting nose offers subtle hints of red berries, plum, and a smattering of earthy undertones. A velvety, medium-bodied wine, it engages the palate with tantalising dark fruit flavours, a touch of spice and expertly balanced acidity. The finish is elegantly long, leaving a delightful last taste. This Pinot Noir, nurtured beautifully in the warm Californian climate, provides a delightful sipping experience for both connoisseurs and novices.

Tasting Notes

Fragrant, gentle cherry notes and lovely fine tannins here. The whole presentation is one of delicately handled fruit, gently extraction, easy flow but also crisp precision. Refined, cool, breezy, with long haunting length. Extremely easy to drink. This hails from some of the sandier sites in Ryan's portfolio, is aged in predominantly old oak for 12 months. Fermented with a small proportion of stems to give added aromatic complexity.
