Product Notes

Domaine Thomas Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Vide Bourse' is a remarkable white wine hailing from Burgundy, France. It exhibits an enchanting blend of elegance and opulence, offering lush apple and citrus flavours harmoniously interwoven with charming mineral undertones. It features an intriguing nuttiness, further enhanced by subtle oak influence, elevating its complexity. The wine is fragrant, maintaining a lingering finish. With a well-structured body and a shiny golden colour, this luxurious French wine is widely regarded for its high quality and aging potential. It's a stellar representative of the finesse of Chassagne-Montrachet wines, a true delight for any wine enthusiast.

Tasting Notes

This vineyard, the pride of our domaine, is in excellent health and yields very rich wines whose character is reminiscent of Morgeot but needing longer to develop. They are rounder, meaty and have a slightly mineral, but long, finish in the mouth. This wine has its place among the best of the 1er crus. Fabulous after five years, it has a laying-down potential of 15 to 20 years, or even longer, depending on vintage.
