Roc de Cambes

Nestled in the hillside overlooking the Dordogne river, Roc De Cambes winery is a hidden gem, tucked away in the Bourgeais region of France. The 12-hectares vineyard is planted with 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. The vineyard's picturesque location offers the benefit of a microclimate, allowing a longer ripening period for the grapes, adding complexity and concentration to the flavours.

The winery, built in the style of traditional Bordelaise châteaux, is where the magic happens. The grapes are harvested manually, ensuring only the finest quality. They are then fermented in wooden vats before undergoing a lengthy maturation process in French oak barrels which typically lasts 12 to 18 months; and adding a distinct oak-infused aroma to the wines.
