Product Notes

The Weingut Markus Molitor Urziger Wurzgarten Spatlese (White Cap) is an arresting Mosel wine with a spectacular flavour profile. This luscious, white-capped vintage is revered for its remarkable balance of sweetness and acidity. Distinct notes of ripe apricot, sweet honey and refreshing citrus dominate, framed by a unique mineral edge characteristic of its steep, slate terrains. An undercurrent of spice adds complexity and depth. It is a lower-alcohol, light-bodied wine with an incredibly long finish, making it an ideal pairing for spicy Asian cuisine or rich, creamy cheeses. This wine provides an exquisite Mosel Spatlese drinking experience.

Tasting Notes

This reveals some ripe fruits including pineapple, passion fruit, yellow peach, greengage and a touch of mango packed into smoke and minty herbs on the nose at this early stage. The wine coats the palate with ample juicy and creamy fruits. Long and smooth mineral finish, only waiting to come out at maturity.
