Iona Chardonnay is an elegant South African white wine from the cool Elgin Valley, where vineyards benefit from high altitudes and refreshing Atlantic influences. Typically bright and refined, it offers aromas of citrus, green apple and white peach, often complemented by subtle notes of toasted oak and spice. The palate is crisp yet gently textured, with lively acidity and a long, balanced finish. Careful winemaking allows the character of the fruit and its origin to shine through. Enjoy it lightly chilled alongside roast chicken, grilled fish, creamy pasta or a selection of mild cheeses. It can also develop beautifully with age.
