Pretty bramble and floral aromas with a real "freestyle" character underlying. Warm herbs, earth and salts with a prominent acid line and violets as the wine opens up. Medium in body with good richness and drinkability, straddling a delicate balance between classic Mediterranean flavours and a more natural, infused feel.

Venus La Universal Tinto wine presents a glorious fusion of Spain's robust winemaking heritage with contemporary flavours. This full-bodied, ruby-hued nectar delights with a complex palate of ripe black fruits, spice and earthy undertones, perfectly harmonised with well-aged tannins to deliver a velvety mouthfeel. Notes of cassis, liquorice and a hint of oak leave a lingering finish after each sip. Matured in a unique blend of French and American oak barrels, it exudes refinement. This wine excellently complements hearty fares. Venus La Universal Tinto wine truly embodies a starry voyage of taste and tradition.

About the Winery

Located in the heart of Montsant, Spain resides the intriguing and multifaceted Venus La Universal winery. Established in 2001 by a loving Spanish couple, the winery quickly became widely recognised for its prodigious production of expressive, terroir-driven wines.
