Tasting Note

Deep mahogany, almost opaque, with an intensely aromatic nose of raisins, dates, figs, dark caramel, maple and chocolate, complemented by subtle toasted and oxidative notes. The palate is extraordinarily rich and viscous, packed with concentrated dried fruit and caramel, yet balanced by refreshing acidity. Silky and mouth-filling, it finishes exceptionally long, with lingering flavours of dates, raisins and bitter chocolate.

Product Notes

Emilio Hidalgo Hidalho Pedro Ximenez is a spectacular Spanish wine, known for its inviting complexity and notable refinement. It hails from the storied Pedro Ximenez grapes of the Andalusian region, offering a lush, velvety palate layered with rich, sweet flavours. This dessert wine exhibits an enchanting deep ebony hue, with intoxicating scent of dried fruits, molasses, and delicate hints of citrus. Each sip unfurls with exquisite smoothness and a beautifully weighted body. The delightful symphony of flavours lingers tantalisingly, making this wine exceptionally well-balanced and endearingly persistent. Ideal for pairing with a fine blue cheese or indulgent chocolate dessert.
