Product Notes

M. Chapoutier's Domaine Tournon Mathilda Shiraz is an intriguing Australian wine that abounds with elegance. Its vibrant ruby hue introduces rich berry aromas with notes of spice and earth. On the palate, a complex blend of dark cherry, blackcurrant and subtle smoky oak arrests your senses, balanced by a delicate peppery edge. Velvety tannins lend structure to this medium-bodied Shiraz, culminating in a lengthy, satisfying finish. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, this wine showcases the distinctiveness of its Victorian terroir. An enchanting companion to red meats, it can be enjoyed now or aged to bring out fuller, evolving flavours.
