Tasting Note

This wine presents an elegant nose, with floral notes and aromas of green apple, lime, and white grapefruit. These aromas translate to the palate and are complemented hints of ripe quince. The enticing palate is defined by well-balanced acidity, minerality and excellent freshness.

Product Notes

Maximin Grünhaus Schloss Riesling Trocken is a splendid, dry German wine crafted in the wineries of the Ruwer region. Known for its aromatic intensity, it greets the senses with subtle hints of apple and citrus, underpinned with a flinty minerality. Exquisitely crisp and balanced, this Riesling reveals an impressive structure on the palate, further enhanced by its invigorating natural acidity. The finish is long and delightfully refreshing. Its unmatched versatility makes it an ideal companion for a variety of dishes or to be savoured on its own. An epitome of classic Riesling, it effuses elegance and finesse.

Maximin Grünhaus

Maximin Grünhaus is a world-class Riesling specialist, based in the Ruwer district of the Mosel, with a viticultural history dating back to the Roman era. Located on steep, south-facing slopes, the estates' celebrated vineyards are divided into separate, but contiguous plots, including the famed ‘Abtsberg’ and ‘Herrenberg’. Each has its own distinct microclimate, aspect and soil that lends itself to singular expressions of Riesling.
