Tasting Note

Aromatic full-bodied sherry. It is mahogany in colour with a tawny hue (like a deep burnished brown) and has a fresh and elegant bouquet, as a result of its long maturation in oak casks and the harmonious passage of time. The elegance of this wine is due partly to the fact that it developed under flor before its oxidative development. Excellent with red meats, game birds, cured cheeses, stews and roast pork.

Product Notes

Emilio Hidalgo Gobernador Oloroso is an exquisite Spanish wine that enchants with distinct nutty tones and complex layers of flavour. Made from Palomino grapes and aged for around 15 years, it boasts a deep amber hue that transforms each sip into a visual delight. Predominant aromas bursting with almonds are seamlessly entwined with underlying essences of dry fruits and spices. Upon tasting, initial mellow sweetness is beautifully countered with a delectably dry aftertaste. The Gobernador Oloroso offers a plush, yet well-structured body that is pleasing to even the most discerning palate. A splendid recommendation for enthusiasts keen on savouring traditionally crafted wines.
