Product Notes

François Chidaine Les Argiles is a sumptuous Vouvray wine, hailing from France's Loire Valley. This charismatic Chenin Blanc is organic and biodynamic, embodying an impeccable harmony of sophisticated minerality and rich fruitiness. An aromatic bouquet of orchard fruits, honey, and nuanced spice prelude a palate that intricately combines elements of crisp apple, ripe pear, and a lingering minerality. The complexity of flavours subtly matures on the palate, with the wine's vibrant acidity and depth underscoring a beautifully balanced structure. François Chidaine Les Argiles offers an exquisite wine-drinking experience, ideal for both casual sipping and more sophisticated dining occasions.

About the Winery

François Chidaine

François Chidaine is one of the Loire Valley’s most respected vignerons, known for his deep commitment to biodynamics and his thoughtful, vineyard-first approach to winemaking. The estate is based in Montlouis-sur-Loire, just across the river from Vouvray in France’s central Loire region. Chidaine began working alongside his father in the late 1980s and formally took over the family domaine in 1989. Over the decades, he has expanded the holdings to include parcels in both Montlouis and Vouvray, as well as select plots in Touraine.
